Philanthropic clergy and General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly, Abuja Bro. Joshua Iginla is at it again. The clergy who is an incurable giver and lover of the less privilege has saved an abandoned elderly woman from the scourge of poverty which could have led to her untimely death.
On Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017, a Blind Woman in her 80s was given a life line through the man of God who had learnt through mama’s Landlord that the elderly woman stayed alone at her residence.
Her son had rented the apartment to shelter his aged mother only to abscond due to severe hardship leaving mama alone afterwards.
The news of her pitiable habitation had reached Bro Iginla, as he is fondly called, through his Barber who felt a modicum of compassion for the woman.
The clergy in his kind heartedness decided to take the woman’s welfare upon himself. Immediately, he ordered a sum of N200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand Naira) to be given to the her during the Easter’s live service while he also placed her on a monthly salary of N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira).
Some of the Church pastors were also assigned to check on her from time to time.
