‘Every Child A Life Saver Campaign’ Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Hits Lagos Schools




                             


Students of Great Lil Schools 16, Alimi Bada Street, Ilamose Estate, Oke –Afa Isolo, Lagos got a taste of the greatest happenings in Nigeria when train of Vickie Roberts Hospitality Foundation’s ‘Every Child A Life Saver Campaign’ got to their door step on Thursday May 4, 2017.


Director of the Foundation, Ambassador Vickie Robert, a Nigerian Ambassador for Peace in the UK and her team were at the school premises to introduce First Aid/basic Life support in schools to make every child learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
                                    
The excited parents, teachers and pupils of the school who all participated in the exercise were full of praise to the ingenuity of Vickie Roberts.
                                     
A first of its kinds in Nigerian schools, this Nigerian Ambassador for Peace in Diaspora who is a registered nurse in the United Kingdom said, she decided to take to the elementary so as to be able to catch them young as this should be an important aspect of learning so that when these children leave school they would have known how to save a life.
                                     
According to her, “The Nigerian Ministry Of Education should make training in first-aid and life-saving skills (cardiopulmonary resuscitation – CPR) a compulsory part of learning at school for every child in Nigeria”
