Victory at last! FEC approves seaport for Badagry, Lagos



Lagos is agog presently with the news of a new seaport in the commercial nerve of the country. The Federal Executive Council at its meeting yesterday has approved the establishment of a seaport in Badagry, Lagos to bring in big vessels into the country. Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, disclosed this to State House correspondents after the meeting presided by President Buhari.

According to Fashola, the new port would cost $2.58 billion and would be completed in five years.
